A Brief Bio. Born in Barnet, Herts., I studied Music and Drama at Exeter University and then Education at East Anglia University. I played in my first band at 19 and have since played in duos, trios, quartets, 5 pieces ... right up to Big Bands playing 40s swing. Although I play keys with Superswing Big Band  and The Parkinson Project, I love playing solo when called for. It gives me the opportunity to play the kind of music I like (which is essentially music the audience like!) and to sing (which I love). Modern keyboards allow for a very full sound with brass, drums , guitar and bass allowing the soloist freedom to handle the keyboard parts!
